The Kindness Circle facilitates art projects with a purpose that brings creativity and exploration with different art mediums to creators of all ages, while connecting communities through art and acts of kindness toward each other
Art sessions are available for homeschool groups, public and charter school classes, assisted living facilities, and anyone else who wants to help the Kindness Circle grow.
Projects with Purpose
Each session consists of an art project that is meant to be given to a loved one, friend, neighbor, or community member in need. Creating something that brings joy to another is a valuable experience for the creator as well as the recipient of the creation. Something made from the heart, no matter how small, often reaches other hearts in the most special way.
Ready to create, complete and share
The Kindness Circle provides the supplies, set up, instruction, and clean up for each art project with purpose session. We also connect organizations together in sharing projects made: for example, a first grade class may choose to connect with a senior assisted living facility and the two can make and receive gifts from each other, creating valuable multigenerational friendship that all can learn and grow from.
Projects for all ages and abilities
Our programs are curated for different age groups, abilities and interest. Every project with purpose session offers the appropriate level of engagement, instruction and supplies for each group. Projects are often seasonal themes and can be created with individual themes upon request within the classroom/community.
The Kindness Circle offers participants opportunities to combine lessons in art, community building, problem solving, generosity, empathy and purpose in their lives
Each project is an opportunity for participants to express themselves creatively, learn about how the gift of bringing joy to others also can bring joy to yourself, and fill the needs of members of the community and family through big and small acts of kindness. No matter the age or ability, each participant’s project created from their heart matters and will create a ripple effect of kindness that will help make our world a better place!
Activities using different materials and art mediums
The Kindness Circle projects use many different types of materials and mediums to create unique creations that encourage participants to think outside the box and use creativity in many ways. We use recycled cardboard, clay, paper mache, paint, photographs, magazines, and much more to make projects educational, creative and FUN!
